Terms of Service

CareerSignal is a career visibility analysis tool. Based on professional information you provide (such as your LinkedIn profile, resume, or answers to our diagnostic questionnaire), the Service generates a “Career Score”, insights, and recommendations about how your professional profile may be perceived by recruiters.

The Service includes a free initial analysis and a paid “CareerSignal PRO” report with the complete set of factors, evidence, and recommendations.

CareerSignal provides informational analysis and guidance only. We do not guarantee employment, interviews, recruiter contact, promotions, salary increases, or any specific professional outcome. The analysis is produced from the information you provide and from general patterns; it is not professional career, legal, financial, or psychological advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. Decisions you make about your career remain your own responsibility.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service, and you must have the authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organisation you represent.

You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of the information you submit, and for ensuring you have the right to share any content you provide. You are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any access links or credentials associated with your analysis, and for all activity that occurs through them.

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by:

• Using the Service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or spam;
• Submitting content that infringes intellectual property or other rights of third parties;
• Interfering with the Service's security or infrastructure — including introducing malware, probing, scanning, or scraping the Service;
• Attempting to reverse engineer the Service or circumvent technical or payment limits;
• Reselling, redistributing, or publicly republishing PRO content;
• Submitting other people's personal data without a lawful basis to do so.

Because the Service uses AI-assisted analysis, you are additionally responsible for your inputs, for how you use the outputs, and for verifying the accuracy of any recommendation before acting on it. You may not use the Service to generate illegal content, deceptive or fraudulent profiles, harassment or hate content, or to attempt to bypass safety measures.

We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including the software, scoring methodology, analysis structure, design, documentation, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service and your results for your personal, non-commercial career purposes, in line with your plan (free or PRO).

You retain ownership of the professional content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to provide the Service to you. Your generated report is provided for your own use; the underlying Service and its IP remain ours.

The free analysis provides a subset of the CareerSignal report at no cost. CareerSignal PRO unlocks the complete report (all factors, evidence, and recommendations) for a one-time payment of US$39.

• CareerSignal PRO is a one-time purchase — not a subscription.
• There is no automatic renewal and no recurring billing.
• Access to PRO content is granted after your payment is confirmed by our payment processor.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, applicable taxes, and related mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms (paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms). Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, or error-free operation. The Service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued (in whole or in part) at any time; purchased PRO access remains available according to these Terms.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill), and our aggregate liability to you is capped at the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, present a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) survive.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
